Question
Dr. Ratnatunga,

I have an 1892 small coin with Victoria Queen on one side. Other side has has Ceylon on top ten cents and the date.  I would like to know a little more about this coins history and value.

Thank You

Answer
The value of this coin is listed in Krause SCWC (2006) from US#1.50 in Fine Grade to US$15
in uncirculated grade. For more details about coin please refer
http://coins.lakdiva.org/british_ceylon/victoria_10c.html

Circulated coins wareout fast and if the details on Queen are not visible, it is
not worth much more than the silver 1.17g ASW
