Question
This coin says Napoleon III Empereur 1861 it has a side profile of a man on front with a pointy beard a mustache and the crown of laurel leaves In between the III and the Empereur there is some kind of marking kind of looks like a C or a crescent moon stuffed between. On the back it has 8 stars, then N W (at the top), 8 more stars, then COINS (at the bottom), a raised picture of the earth with a ring around it Do you have any idea what i've got? I cant send a pic right now.

It looks like it's made out of copper, the details are very clear not hardly worn at all the head on the front also stands out from the surface but is also concave right where his head is

It's some kind of souvenir or medal, but I don't know where it's from.  There is another one for sale on eBay right now, listed at $19.99 or best offer :

I can't find any more information about it either, but I do know it's not a regular circulation coin -- has to be a token or medal.
