I'm try to figure out what version this France 2 centimes 1855 D is? I read there are two version: Large D or Small D. And I also want to know the value of the coin

Hi Nathan,
This one is the large D. In this condition would be worth $15-$20 retail and $10-$15 at auction. However, the dark spots and light colored area that looks like a scuff on the front would lower the value a bit. I would say $10 is fair.
Thanks for the question! =)

My specialty is world coins from the 18th to 20th centuries, primarily non-US foreign coins and related areas such as errors and exonumia (tokens, medals, etc.). I can answer questions relating to identification, grading, selling, preservation and evaluation of such items. In addition to catalog value, I can give you the practical market value and trends for specific types of coins. I will also take questions regarding counterfeits (both modern and antique) and on how to identify them. I am NOT knowledgeable in paper money/banknotes, ancient or "shipwreck" coins. Thank you.
