Question
Have you ever heard about this?

Answer
Hi Carl,

The K in Dallas refers to the Federal district.  It was the 11th district and was given the letter K as the 11th letter in the alphabet.  Boston is A, New York is B etc...  The district letters were in use long before the presidents birth in 1917.

Kind regards,
