Question
I recently received a 1934a $10 I bought from ebay and it seems a little off.  The margins on the front and back don't line up and the bill is about 1/8 inch longer than my other 1934/1993 $10 bills.  There also seems to be a shift in the serial numbers.  The detail on the note is extraordinary and it has little red hairs that look legit, but held up to light it is almost transparent.  Did I get bamboozled?  Thanks!

Answer
Hi Mitch,

Your note is certainly worth the $10.00 face value.  The fact that the note seems bigger isn't much to worry about.  1/8th of an inch is not a large difference and I am sure your note is fine.  If you want to attach pictures I can confirm my hunch.

Kind regards,

Greg
