I have a coin dated 1896 not sure if its valuable

Answer
Hello,

I don't have good news on this one. From the photos you sent I would say that this is a replica coin. The correct weight for this coin would be 26.7 grams. This coin was heavily counterfeited and the patina on this one makes it suspect. If the weight is correct and it does turn out to be real the value would be around $25 in this condition. At today's silver value there is about $15 dollars worth of silver in it so it would be collectible.
