Dear Dmitry Livshits,

I'd like to ask a question about this unidentified coin. What is it and how much can it be worth? All that i know is that it's struck in 18k gold and wight is 3,47 g (PP).

Best Regards,

Szilvia Wodzinsky

Hi Szilvia,
This is a privately made medallion, and was part of a set of 4 with this design and different sizes. The whole 4-piece set weighs 175 grams, yours is the smallest out of the set.
Practical value is that of the gold, these do not sell for a collectible premium above gold value unless you have the complete set and original presentation case the set came in.
Thanks for the question! =)

My specialty is world coins from the 18th to 20th centuries, primarily non-US foreign coins and related areas such as errors and exonumia (tokens, medals, etc.). I can answer questions relating to identification, grading, selling, preservation and evaluation of such items. In addition to catalog value, I can give you the practical market value and trends for specific types of coins. I will also take questions regarding counterfeits (both modern and antique) and on how to identify them. I am NOT knowledgeable in paper money/banknotes, ancient or "shipwreck" coins. Thank you.
