Coin and Paper Money Collecting/Rare Sliver Penny 1943

Question
What is the estimated value of a Rare Silver penny from 1943 that sticks to a magnet.

Answer
sticking to a magnet shows the metal in your cent is steel, not silver.  1943 cents were indeed made of steel as copper was too valuable to the war effort to put into cents.  It was the only year that happened.  They were coated with a light coat of zinc, and thus are similar in color to silver.  They were made in large quantity and thus have some, but not very much value today from 10 cents or so if circulated to about a dollar if nice uncirculated, Jim Lawniczak
