Coin and Paper Money Collecting/Dime seen in "Strike it rich with pocket change"

Hello. Im wondering the value of a dime such as the one seen in "strike it rich with pocket change"(1974 multiple die clash on obverse and reverse) I have one that appears to have been struck with the same dies. I apologize for the poor photos done with my phone. Thank you for your time volunteered here.

Well, the good news is you definitely have a clashed die dime -- the bad news is you're not going to get rich.

Similar clashed dimes are selling on eBay in the $3 to $8 range.  It's not a major error, so there's limited collector interest.  Still, it's not bad for 10 cents :)

My strong familiarity with all U.S. Mint coins, extensive reference library, and close relationships with many other dealers allows me to identify just about any coin made in the USA. I receive regular updates to all the current price guides -- both wholesale & retail -- to provide accurate values. So, with a good description or pictures, I should be able to identify and value any U.S. coin you have.

I've been a coin dealer since the 1980's and a coin collector since the 1960's. I specialize in U.S. Silver Coins and have an active online website -- The Working Man's Rare Coins -- -- offering information and inventory in U.S. coins.
