Coin and Paper Money Collecting/2006 (five dollar note blue seal and serial numbers)

2006 Five note
2006 Five note
I stumbled on a five dollar bill (see attached) that has a blue seal and blue serial numbers. I thought it was fake so I checked all the security features and it has them. The bill was printed in 2006. To my knowledge (which isn't much) in 2006 the US Mint never printed any five dollar notes with a blue seal and blue serial numbers.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

This note left the BEP colored correctly and has either been chemically altered or left in the sun to fade the color away.  It's not going to be considered an error in the numismatic sense.

Kind regards,

Greg Davis
