Coin and Paper Money Collecting/.50 peice coins

Question
My mother in law just passed away and she had a huge coin collection. My husband is saving the very rare and older ones but we have this huge bag of .50 peices from 1965-1969 the bag is has about 600.00 dollars worth of coins. I'm not sure if this is worth trying to sell to a coin collector. They are in decent condition She was an avid collector and I think she just didn't have time to put these ones in rolls. But we have to downsize because my little apartment will not hold her extensive collection. If you could give me some advise as to how I should go about getting this bag of coins off my hands I would really appreciate it. Oh and I don't know much about coins but I believe that some of the coins are silver.

Answer
Hello Francesca,
First off, regarding the collection, you should have it looked at by a professional.  Even though a coin is old does not necessarily mean it is rare or valuable.  We do complimentary reviews if you are interested.  Where are you located?
Regarding the half dollars from 1965 to 1969, I would buy them from you.  It would mean either shipping them, if you are some distance away, though.  Let me know where you are so I can better advise you.  Email me directly at OmegaPM@aol.com
