QUESTION: I have a 'moderate' coin collection which I would like to have appraised for insurance purposes. Where can I go and what cost should I expect? My collection consists of:
Complete sets all BU of: Lincoln '34-07, Jeff, Roosevelt, Washington Qtr (minus 32-D) Kennedy, Ike, SB Anthony, Sacagawea, Peace, Sil Eagle 86-07.
4 St Gaudens (MS-63+) 2 $10 Liberty (MS-62+),
4 $10 Indian (MS-62) & 1913-S in VF.
7 Modern Gold Commemoratives PF-69 & 70.
31 Mod Silver Commemoratives MS-69/70 & PF 69/70
2 $50 Gold Eagles PF-70
1 $25 Gold Eagle PF/MS 69 & 70
5 $ 5 Gold Eagles PF/MS 69 & 70
18 Sil Eagles varied dates all MS69/70, PF 69/70

QUESTION: 'Individual Coins' are ALL graded by PCGS, NGC oand a few by ANACS. The sets are 'raw' but each coin was individually acquired by me personally and are are BU w/Proofs. If graded I have no doubt they would grade in high 60's. I live in Westchester County, NY

Hi Richard,
You will need something in writing for the insurance.  Since the bulk of the value will be in the slabbed coins, I can do one for you if you give me the individual coins, grades, serial numbers etc, on the slabs.
I can guesstimate the raw sets.
I charge $175 ofr this service, for a clooection your size.
