Coin and Paper Money Collecting/Arabic coin

Question
I have a slightly worn, brass coin that has Arabic writing on both sides. Around the edges is a box-like pattern on both sides. One side has the number 10 and some Arabic below it, and the other side has 1320 and presumably the date written in Arabic above. The edges are smooth, but I am not sure if this is because of wear or not. From what country does this coin originate, and the year it was minted?

Answer
Hi Andrea, this is a bronze 10 mazunas coin from Morocco. The Christian date is equivalent to 1902-03.
Collector value of a coin depends on date, mint mark (if any), number minted and condition of a coin, including amount of wear, any dents, scratches or cleaning as well as collector demand for it.
It may be worth about $1 with heavy wear to around $4 with moderate wear to maybe $8 with light wear.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
