Expert: PAPAJACK - 7/24/2007

Question
I found a coin in my penny jar and I'm not sure what it is.  On the front it says
* United States Of America * Liberty around the coin and in the middle is an Eagle with some kind of twig in his hand it also says VB very small on the front.

On the back there is an interesting border, and in the middle it says

CTX
812
VB

Not sure what this is, it seems to be brass....? maybe gold.

There is no year, and I would like to know what it is.

I thought it may be a bridge token but here I found someone else with 2 pieces he believes to be used for amusement, and he includes a short description.

CTX 302 VB (in circle within circles of dots and fancy design) / ncv (eagle) ncv - NB 23mm (reeded edge)
CTX 318 VB (in circle within fancy border) / ncv (eagle) ncv - NB 25mm (reeded edge)

Tokens like this are made to order by any company that asks.
I can tell you it is not a coin. Coins must have a denomination on them, and be issued by a government.
