Coin and Paper Money Collecting/Dime with bumps

Question
I have a dime with bumps on either side of the coin at the same location.  May have been an air buble that stayed in the dime.  It is just right next to Roosevelt's nose just shy of the face.  The bumps are not at the edge.  The year of the coin is 1984. Does this give the coin added value?

Answer
Hello Laura,

I do not think this is a mint defect. Any raised areas or bumps would have been pressed smooth at the mint when the design was stamped into the coins top and bottom at the same time.
I have not personally seen any coins as you describe though. It may be worth a dollar or less as an oddity to an error coin collector. But if it did not happen at the mint it has no added value to coin collectors.
