Question
I WAS WONDERING ABOUT THE VALUE OF A SET I RECENTLY CAME UPON.  IT'S TWO PACKS OF 1970 UNCIRULATED COINS.  ONE HAS TWO PENNIES, 1 S,A DIME, NICKEL, AND QUARTER.  THE OTHER HAS A PENNIE D, HALF DOLLAR, DIME, NICKEL, AND QUARTER.  BOTH ARE IN THE PLASTIC AND EACH HAVE THE BUREAU OF MINT COIN, ONE PHIL.& SAN FRAN. THE OTHER DENVER.  THANK YOU

Answer
Hey, Mike sounds like you have a mint set, or maybe a proof set.  The ones from 1970 aren't worth all that much, maybe in the range of $10 to $20 (I think the 1970 set might be worth a bit more due to the 1970D half being a low mintage coin).  If you want to check, go to www.ebay.com and do a search for "1970 mint set" or something like that and see what comes up and what it is selling for.  Also you can check the picture to see if it's close to what you have.  Or try www.google.com with the same search and see what you find.  Good luck, Jim Lawniczak
