Question
I have a coin that has a date of 1776 . It has an eagle on it with Silver Issue
2 Gr
.999
1776
serial # 8528178
The features are VERY detailed ...no problem
counting the feathers on the eagle not really any worn spots edges are nice 2 stars on the coin...
The back however is "hollow" nothing on the flip side its simply indented to form the front picture
Any info:
thanks

Answer
Hello,
Your item is not a coin, coins are required to have a denomination such as 1 Dollar, 50 Cents etc.
I am guessing that it is some sort of a commemorative medal that wa sprobably struck in 1976 for the Bicentennial of The US.
