Question
i have a german note for 1000000 marks issued 1923 in Berlin, How do i Know if its Real or Fake?
It Reads "Berlin, den 9. Auguft 1923" or something like that and its only printed on one side is this normal?

Answer
Hi,

These notes are very common even in uncirculatd condition because Germany printed millions of them (and only on one side) because they were cranking them out so fast during the inflationary period of 1922-1923.  I don't know of any counterfeits of this type since they are only worth around $4-10 each depending upon the condition.
