Question
My Uncle's estate has 5 coins - 1877 Indian Head penny & $2.50 gold coins - 1912,13,27,29.  Where can I go to get their value for the estate that the Court will accept?
Thanks,
Tony

Answer
Hi Tony,
I don't know where you are located but you need to get them appraised by a coin dealer.
You must tell the dealer  that the appraisal is for estate purposes and not insurance purposes.  Appraisals for insurance are usuaally higher.
You really want to know what that dealer would pay you for the coins, that would be the market value.
I'm guestimating the 5 coins are worth between $500 and $800
