Coin and Paper Money Collecting/Face value of coin

Question
I have 4 One Dollar coins minted in 2000.  I think they took the place of the Susan B. Anthony Dollar.

Answer
Hello Ann,

Sounds like the Sacagawea Dollar. They are a brassy gold color with a smooth edge and the same size as a Susan B. Anthony dollar.  If so they are only be worth face value. They are still available in Mint State grades.

The Susan B. Anthony was made in 1979 to 1981 and again in 1999. They were made at all three mints as the new coins are. At present both coins are only collectable in Mint State Grade by collectors at this time.
