Coin and Paper Money Collecting/Five dollar presidential coin set

Question
I ordered the presidential five dollar coin set several years ago and I believe I have an up to date set. I tried to call the number to update my account and was told that it is no longer in service. The coins were purchased through TriStar Products and I believe are from the Presidential Library Collection. Are they no longer selling the coins or did they just change their number. Thank you.

Answer
Sorry Ron, but they're just another fly-by-night company that's gone now.

Unfortunately, the products these companies sell have almost no resale value, outside of any precious metal they may contain.

I hope you didn't get into them too deeply.

Expertise

My strong familiarity with all U.S. Mint coins, extensive reference library, and close relationships with many other dealers allows me to identify just about any coin made in the USA. I receive regular updates to all the current price guides -- both wholesale & retail -- to provide accurate values. So, with a good description or pictures, I should be able to identify and value any U.S. coin you have.

Experience

I've been a coin dealer since the 1980's and a coin collector since the 1960's. I specialize in U.S. Silver Coins and have an active online website -- The Working Man's Rare Coins -- http://www.workingmancoins.com -- offering information and inventory in U.S. coins.
