Question I have three coins that I don't have any information about. I am hoping you can assist me. The first one is a gold-looking color, and has a man pictured on the obverse side. The designer's initials are K.K. It has some Greek-looking words on the front, here they are (not exact letters): A. EOAQMOE.
On the reverse side it says: EAAHNIKH AHMOKPATIA
and then there is a large 20 with the letters APX. in front of it.
There is a vine on the back and the coin is dated 1990.
The next coin:
On the obverse side it says BAUDOUIN with a mans head under it. To the right of the head there is a smaller H.
On the reverse side there is a crown in the top left hand side, then 1F on the top right hand side, and on the bottom it says BELGIQUE.
The coin is dated 1991.
The last coin:
Ok this one might be tough. It has symbols that aren't even close to any English letters. On one side there is grain, and under it there are three symbols. Then on the other side it says 1991, under it a large 50, and four more symbols underneath that.
If you know where any of these are from, and even how much they are worth, I would greatly appreciate it.
Answer Hi Tom,
#1 Greece, 20 Drachmes, featuring Dionysus Soloman, composer of the national anthem, worth $1 or less depending on amount of wear.
#2 Belgium, 1 Franc, featuring king Baudouin I (1951-93), worth .25 or less.
#3 South Korea, 50 Won, featuring a rice plant, worth .25 or less.
If you have any other questions I will be glad to help.
