Coin and Paper Money Collecting/Gold bullion

Question
I collect gold bullion. Coins and bars. I would like to find a source that would not eat me alive with fabrication fees. I would like to get a selection of the small 1 - 2 gram bars from different producers. These are not really made for the collector market or those that buy gold for investment so the demand is low and the cost is high. Do you know any sources where I might purchase these at a reasonable cost above spot?

Answer
Hello Marshall,
Traditionally, the smaller the bar or coin, the higher the premium over spot price.

Simply put, it costs the fabricator the same labor to make a 1 gram or a kilo.

Best bet is to check ebay.  You may find some deals.
