Question
I was recently going through some coins that my dad had got while he wax in England, found one that stood out, seems to be a gold coin from California>

One one side it has the name Blake & co. Assayers, the number 20 in the center with a number of circles around it.

The other has SAC. CALIFORNIA GOLD 20 DOLLS SMV .900 and in the center a picture of what looks like a press of some kind and with 1855 underneath.

Can you tell me if the coin is real and it's value if any?

Also found some from other countries, is their anyway I can get some type of info on them?

Thanks for your help,

Darrin

Answer
If the Blake is real, it is worth over $50,000 but so few genuine ones exist and so many copies were made that I would doubt yours is genuine.  Without a physical inspection, I could not tell if you are fortunate enough to have a real one.
