Coin and Paper Money Collecting/Gold colored quarter

Question
In a roll of quarters from the bank I found a 2002 Ohio state quarter that is Gold colored like the dollar coins.  Is this worth anything?  Thanks!

Answer
HI Roger,
Without being able to actually inspect the coin, I can only guess what we have here.  It is possible that if the coin is thinner than a normal quarter that the nickel layering is missing.  Another theory is that the coin was struck on the wrong planchet, or that someone tampered with it and plated it.
Honestly, I can not give you anything concrete to run with merely because I can not physically inspect it.
