WE FOUND A COIN/TOKEN THAT SAYS "J.D.E $3.00 HOMERVILLE"
WE HAVE RESEARCHED HOMERVILLE G.A. AND OHIO AND CANNOT FIND ANY INFO. WE FOUND IT 6 FEET UNDER GROUND AT A SITE OF AN OLD BURNT HOUSE 3 GENERATIONS AGO

It is most likely a trade or merchant token good for $3 worth of goods or services. Maybe the merchant name was Homerville or JDE
I have no clue, but researching via the internet is probably your only hope. Good Luck
