Question
Hello,
I have three coins that I need help identifying how much they could be worth and the type of coin. I have (2) Mercury dimes, one from 1936 and one from 1941. Also, I have a Buffalo Nickel from 1928. I saw on www.PCGS.com, that my buffalo nickel could be worth $1000-10,000 depending on the type of 1928 coin it was. How would I be able to tell what make it was?

Answer
Dear Nilesh. Condition. It depends on how "new" the coin is. The more perfect the coin, the more the coin it is worth. For your 1928 nickle to be worth anything ast all it would have to be "brand new", that is perfect, just as it was made in 1928. No rub, no wear. Regards. N.
