Question
Are there any rare pennies in the wheat collection?  I seem to recall reading about one or two, and cannot remember what dates, or whether they were required to be in mint condition.  I have pennies from 1941-1958, with doubles and triples, depending upon types made each year.  Any direction you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
Hi Colleen,

In the date range of 1941-1958, look for 1943 pennies made of copper (not steel) and 1955 double die pennies.  On the 1955, you will see a clear doubling of the date, the word "liberty" and "in God we trust"

Other than those 2, they are not rare even in mint condition.

Sincerely,
Joe Hylas
