Coin and Paper Money Collecting/Miss stamper coin

Question
My wife has a penny blank that has been stamped as a nickle on both sides. The stamping is off center thus not all the inscriptions are all present, but the date looks like 1960.

What if anything can you tell us about this coin?

Thanks,

Bob Chandler

Answer
Hi Bob,

Off metal errors are not terrible rare but they are scarce.
Depending upon the condition, it can be worth $100 but I would really have to see it.
If you are interested in me making an offer, let me know at OMEGAPM@aol.com
