Coin and Paper Money Collecting/Morgan Dollars

Question
I have several Morgan Dollars in MS-63 condition. What is the best way to preserve my collection? I currently have them in hard plastic holders from Whitman. I would like to switch to an album so that I can view and enjoy my collection. Not quite which way to go.
Thanks, Scott

Answer
Hello Scott,

Whatever you use make sure it is archival quality.
Depending on budget there are many ways to store and display the coins.
The hard Plastic air-tite holders are good but store the coins in a cool dry place and toss in a silica gel packet as well to further protect them from discoloring.

I do use "cointains" they are Mylar cases made to fit each coin exactly and then I slip them into a plastic page in a binder.
You can then customize your album to what you have. The coins can be handled in them as well.
Shop around for the best price take a look at this advertisement I found;

Some very expensive coins I get graded and encapsulated by PCGS, NGC or ANACS and there are album pages to fit the slabs as well if you wish.
