Coin and Paper Money Collecting/New collector

Question
I would love to get started in collecting mint proof sets. What kind of value can I expect from the Coin Vault on shopathome.tv or better yet where can you direct me to get started. My main purpose would be investment to perhaps down to Grandkids.

Answer
Hi Bill,
Honestly, TV coins shows are overpriced.  The coins can be acquired cheaper or in a higher grade for the same $

If you are looking for coins that are limited in supply, Proof Sets are not the way to go because they make millions of them every year.

Look for truly rare coins certified by PCGS or NGC.  You can call my office on Tuesday and speak with either Bob or myself about what would be the best way to go about this.

Figure out what you can spend as a starting investment and we can design a true portfolio for you.  We are professionals, not salesmen selling common coins for crazy prices.  800-474-6960
