Question
Where can I go to find the value of a 1944 steel, zinc coated penny? I have read that there are only a few know in existence and where printed in error.

Answer
Hi Mikey,
Many non-genuine pieces are known to exist.  First off, authenticity would have to be determined, which could simply be a matter of placing the coin by a magnet.
But to get to your question, Heritage Galleries has an auction archive with auction results going back a number of years.
I would say that is a good starting point.  Another place to check is CoinWorld, I am sure that over the years something must have been written on this coin.
Good Luck
