Question
I have a copper coin. On one side of the coin it say across the top uncirculated, then a big D in the middle, and then denver across the bottom. On the other side it has treasury across the top. In the middle it has a crest. Inside the crest it has a set of scales across the top then a upside down v with dot in it across the middle, then a key across the bottom. At the bottom of the coin it reads united states mint.

Answer
Hello Robert,

This sounds like a mint token. They are made of the same metal as the One Cent coin each year. When you buy an Uncirculated mint set from the government they contain a token from the mint that made them.
These are common and sell for less than a dollar.
