Question
hi my dad past away recently and he was in the masonic lodge and he collected pennies but while looking through his collection i came across masonic paper notes i have asked people in the lodge but no one can tell me anything about them and they have never heard of masonic paper pennies can you help

Answer
Jim, this is very interesting.  I have indeed heard of "Masonic pennies" which are Masonic tokens but they are metal.  I had not heard of Masonic paper notes, although I am not an expert in them.  So, I went to www.ebay.com and www.google.com and searched for Masonic paper and Masonic notes, but really didn't come across any more information.  I would suggest that you look at what you have and do searches, particularly on eBay, that reference some of the things on your paper.  You may find someone else selling something like what you have, Jim Lawniczak
