i have a 2006 one dollar bill that is missing the mint seal and the 4 numbers in each corner. i checked it with a counterfeit pen and is good but there are some smudges also. tell me what you think and worth . thanks Ken

Hello Ken,                       

It sounds like the note is missing the third printing or overprint.
On current U.S. paper money this includes the green treasury seal and serial numbers and the black Federal Reserve District Seal and Federal Reserve District designation numbers in the four corners.
Also on current notes this overprinting is applied in two separate colors so it is possible for a note to get only one set of elements Green or Black.
If this is the case the value depends on how many elements are missing. They sell to error note collectors from $2 to $25 dollars depending on condition.
If both colors are missing it retails from $40 to $100 to error collectors in circulated grades.

The smudges would give it no added value for this condition. You would need a dealer to look at it to get a more accurate value.
