Expert: Jim Lawniczak - 2/7/2006

Question
I'm a coin collector from Romania .
I have a coin with the following description :
On one side : one 1877 penny , indian head , 13 stars above , near th rim
On the other side there is a bufallo and the inscription " nickel"
Since now I didn't find any informations about this coin .

sounds like a fantasy piece: the 1877 cent is a key date in the Indian cent series, very valuable, but it has a wreath reverse with one cent on it.  You might go to www.ebay.com and see if anyone is selling anything like what you have.  It may be a silver piece, but I can't tell without seeing it.  Hope this helped a bit, Jim Lawniczak
