Question
My mom has a 1682 Prussian coin with Friedrich Whilhem the 3rd. I don't know the first thing about finding out the value of it.I have not seen the coin but I was hoping to find a ballpark value. Where can I start looking?    Thank you, Stephanie

Answer
Hi  Stephanie,

I think you mean 1882?  The value is usually listed on the back in either roman numerals or in german like "funf mark" .  eins, zwei, funf, zehn are all denominations.  Do you think it looks silver in color or copper?  I would love to help you find the value and denomination but these are a few things we gotta find out before I can put a value on it?
