Coin and Paper Money Collecting/A question about bills and more coins

Question
Hello again Joe, please let me know if I am bugging you with too many questions.  I was looking through bills and found a 1950 $20 with F mint mark, 1950 A $10 with D mint mark, and $1 bills from 1963 mint marks A,B,D,F,G,H,J,K,L and 1963A with mint marks C and E.  Are either of these worth holding onto for any reason?  I'm not sure why they were in the collection.  They are Federal Reserve Notes and not Silver Certificates.  I also came across (3)1967 Canadian $1 bills.  I found a Confederate $1000 bill.  It has "No. 297", "May 28, 1861" and was from Montgomery.  I could not make out the 2 signatures on the bottom.  It appears like a novelty item but i'm not sure.  I also found a baggie of Jefferson nickels from the 1930's, 40's and 50's, 20 or so Susan B. Anthony's, a few steel pennies, and a big baggie of Wheat pennies.  Again, just wondering if they have any value or if I should just spend them.  I guess i'm trying to keep the stuff worth keeping and get rid of the stuff that was not really that valuable to begin with.  Thanks again for all the help.

Answer
Hi Mike,

The paper money, unless it is in crisp condition, doesn't pay to hold onto.  The Conferate bill, I can't tell you anythiing about because we don't know if it's real.
As for the coins, I suggest you get a copy of the Guidebook to US Coins by RS Yeoman.  It list all the values and then you can decide what to hold and what to dump.
