Question
hi ive recived a penny one day while buying some food and i noticed when i looked at the penny there was no printing on it. as if it was skiped from being printed on. i was wondering if it was worth anything or not. thank you.

Answer
Hello Susy,

I am not an expert on error coins, but here is what I have experienced.
Blank coins for all denominations are a very common mishap at the mint but the cent is more commonly found.
They sell for only a few dollars each.   A struck coin with the something missing or blank on one side is more unusual.
It would sell for more usually from $5 to $15 each depending on the denomination. Like a partially struck half dollar sells higher than an off-set cent.
