Question
This weekend I pulled a bunch of change from my pocket and found a 1992 all copper nickel among the coins.I've found miss stamped coins before but never one like this.I has no nickel on it at all and is in pretty good condition, just wanted to know your thoughts on it.
Thanks for your time,
Tim James

Answer
Hi Tim,
Interesting find!  Without seeing the coin, I can only guess.  Possibly a genuine nickel that has been plated? or colord to look like copper?  Or, maybe it is a genuine nickel that was struck on a foreign planchet, since the US Mint does make coins for other countries.
If you take a picture of it, both sides, send it to me at OMEGAPM@aol.com

I would like to take a look at it.

Regards,
