I have some old coins ranging from 1890 silver dollars to roosevelt dimes.  The condition ranges from fair to very good.  Where would be a good place to sell them?  I live in the SF bay area.  Max. price is important!

Hi John,

There are a few ways to go about this.  Certainly, you can take them to a dealer who is listed in the yellow pages, but you don't know their background or reputation.  You can take the time to list them on Ebay, pay the fees and hope to get max $.  You can ship them to any number of dealers who will make you an offer.
I buy lots of collections over the internet.  People ship the collections to me, insured, and I pay the highest price possible based upon current market conditions.  Turn-around is quick and if I buy the collection, I reimburse you for the shipping cost.  If I don't buy it, I pay the shipping back to you.
I am on the US Mint's referral list and they are very strict as you who the "endorse".  Believe me, it's not worth trying to cheat someone for a few dollars and lose that endorsement.  If you wnat to ship to me, do so at this address:
