Question
I have about 6 $20 St Gaudens purchased when gold was near $800. They have all been graded and sealed. The dealers I have talked to will not accept this valuation and want them graded again. What is your opeinion of this? They are MS62-64.

Who graded the coins that you have? Grading opinions vary and the only 2 that really matter are PCGS and NGC. I am assuming that yours are neither of these services, hence the dealers are probably saying that they coins are overgraded.
Personally, I would not pay to have them regraded. The value difference between MS-61 through MS-64 is not large enough to warrant the expense. Unless these rae "rare Date" and not common date coins. Since you said you you bought them when gold was around $800, I would assume they are common date coins. Common date MS-62-64 coins are worth about $650-675 each.
