Coin and Paper Money Collecting/unstruck pennie

Question
I was going through my daughters pennie-bank and found what looked like a pennie, but was a blank.  I saw that on your web site you have one.  Does this coin have any value?  What should I do with this coin?

Answer
Mary beth, unstruck, blank planchet cents do have some value.  I don't have a web site so you didn't see one at my site.  But try going to www.ebay.com and do a search for blank planchet and several for sale should come up.  I don't think you're going to get rich off this though.  I believe they sell in the $2 to $5 range.  Jim Lawniczak
