Question
1972 lincoln penny with sm face of kennedy. is it of value?

Answer
Brenda sorry, but the answer is no (other than as a cent).  There were made in some numbers as novelty pieces and sold to the public for 50 cents to a dollar or so.  I really haven't seen any after market for them develop.  If you go to www.ebay.com and do a search for stamped penny, you'll see a few come up, including a pair with Kennedy stamped on them.  The seller is starting the bids off at 99 cents but has no takers with less than a day to go.  Jim Lawniczak
