Question
Can you please help me with what the value is on three different silver dollars. The years I am most interested in is 1889, 1863, and 1822.
         Thank you very kindly...

Answer
Hello Angela,

I need a bit more information for your question. Please check your coin dates and mint for a more accurate answer.

The 1863 is a Seated Liberty design and has a large range of value depending on its state of preservation.  Valued from $260 to $600 dollars in circulated graded from 8 to 50.

The 1889 is a Morgan type dollar and was made at 4 mints each with its own value. you need to tell me if there is a Mint-Mark letter. Look for any mint mark on the back of the 1921 between the D and O in DOLLAR below the eagle.

There were no US Dollars produced in 1822, what design is on the coin?
I also need the mint mark if any on your 1889 Dollar coin.

Please feel free to write me with the information I am happy to help you with this question.
