Question
I have a 1914 wheat back penny and wondered if it had any worth. It is quite worn.  Thank you for your time.

Answer
Hello Melissa,

If it has a D or S mint mark near the date it would be a great find.
But if there is no mint mark letter it was made at the Philadelphia Mint.
It is valued from thirty cents to a dolar in Circulated condition.
If the Cheek and Jaw-Bone is well defined (worn but still seperated) and the Wheat-Heads on the back are not worn you would get more about $4 for the no mint mark coin, about $400 for the Denver Mint coin and about $17 for the San Francisco mint coin.
