Question
Hi I was wondering about an old liberty penny dated 1837 or 1887.could u please tell me something or anything about this one.thanks for your help,

Answer
Hello Debbie,

In 1837 there were Large Cents made in the USA. It would have a Coronet Head and sell from $6 in low grade to $135 or so in high grade.
This is a picture of the back of the coin and it is as big as a modern quarter.

If it is a 1887 it is the size of a modern cent and has an Indian Headdress on lady liberty and sells from $2 to about $28 dollars in circulated grades.
