ColdFusion Programming/Cold Fusion Help

Question
I had a cold fusion web server go down today. The version was 4.1 running on an NT 4 box. It is a very simple application that populates MS word templates using a SQL database.

I took over after this was setup and have been begging management to upgrade this for years. My question is about installing cold fusion 9 on a 2003 server box and getting the application to function. According to Adobe it is possible. I could use some information on how to set it back up. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Answer
It is very simple actually. Get CF9 up and running, create your database link and DSN, then put the script on the server. See if it works. If not, see what the errors are and change the code to fix them.

CF9 has some enhancements you might want to incorporate. Maybe bring the script into the 21st century. :)
