Question
I have a complete prewar Jennings One Cent Slot Machine internal works.  I would like to sell this and am looking for an approximate value and what is the best way to offer it for sale?

Answer
Hi Jeff, First off there are many different types of Jennings Mechanisms for the different lines of slots Jennings made. If we could identify yours it would help. If you could e-mail me a photo, I would love to see it or send me one? My e-mail address is jackpot7@ix.netcom.com
and my Mail address is P.O. Box 55531, Shoreline Washington 98155. Mechanism's normally sell for anywhere, from $100.00 up to $400.00, depending on condition and what machine type it was designed to fit in. I am myself am always somewhat interested in parts, so I would be a potential buyer. Would you be able to e-mail a photo to me? As for selling it, there's the antique trader for running adds, or C.O.L.A., a small group of slot collector you could join, and run a for sale add, and some auction companies, Or best bet is just look for slot machine nuts like me, and see what kind of deal you can make.
Thank You

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Please email photo's to: jackpot7@ix.netcom.com My web site is at: http://www.coinslots.com

Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
