Question

Singer 2
Hi Irene,
I have a Singer sewing machine with what I believe they call a treadle table.  The table is of tiger oak I believe.  I am interested in selling the piece and have found some information myself, but am hoping you can help me a little.  The machine itself has a serial number of A 0443599 on it.  I have learned that some models can be dated by the serial number, but of course the one I have just has to be different.  It seems that the only information available with these serial numbers beginning with A is that they were made in Podalsk, Russia beginning in 1911.  I also found an owners manual in one of the drawers that is for machines 127-3 and 128-3.  Also in the drawer was a long strip of leather and a small box containing what I assume to be different parts for the machine.  There is a number on the outside of the box, but I can't make the whole thing out.  I will try to attach some pictures, although I'm not sure they will be clear enough for you to see much.  What I'd really like to know from you, if possible, is an estimated value or if you can tell me if the fact that it is the single "A" serial number makes it more or less valuable or has no effect on value.  Also, if you have any other information or can point me in a direction to try to find other items with similar serials.  Thank you so much for any help.
